Strawbridge summer restaurant serves Cornish Picnic & BBQ Smokehouse
The Posh Pasty Co has been confirmed to cater at this year’s Port Eliot Festival again this summer. Our C.E.O and founder James Strawbridge has been asked to run a pop up restaurant in the Orangery over the long weekend. Last year Mark Hix served a menu under the Fortnum & Mason’s banner and James is hoping to build on that success with his own twist on the Great Cornish Picnic and some authentic BBQ Smokehouse.
Booking for the evenings is advised but come along all day for some proper local BBQ, a pasty or a gourmet cream tea. Strawbridge has confirmed that he will also be running a Festival Food Market on the Saturday and Sunday with the support I of key local suppliers such as Trewithen Dairy, Tregothnan Tea, Good Game charcuterie, and of course the
Posh Pasty Co. There will be a bar serving a superb selection of local cocktails and brand new dirty sorbets for that festival
chilled out vibe.
